Tess is an experienced commercial professional with over 25 years of expertise across the oil and gas, resources, rail, and marine sectors. She has a strong background in commercial management of major projects and leadership of commercial business functions, combining technical knowledge with strategic commercial insight.
Throughout her career, Tess has held senior commercial and supply chain leadership roles across Australia, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Mongolia. She commenced her career as an electrician and electrical estimator before completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Law and Corporate Governance, transitioning into commercial leadership roles. Prior to joining Primero, Tess held positions including Regional Commercial Manager within Worley WA & NT Energy Division and Director – Commercial at Pilbara Ports Authority.
As General Manager – Commercial and Supply Chain, Tess focuses on contract, risk, and revenue management, driving sustainable business outcomes through strong commercial acumen, leadership, and collaborative relationship-building across functions.
