David has over 25 years’ of experience in engineering including functional engineering management of regional business units and process plant design, including onsite supervision and commissioning of mineral processing plants in various locations including Australia, Ghana, Armenia, Indonesia, Zambia, DRC, China and the USA.

With experience across a number of project delivery roles, David brings detailed knowledge of systems and processes required to deliver design from front-end studies through to commissioning. David also brings a detailed knowledge of work-sharing and managing remote engineering teams having executed engineering with teams across multiple office locations and countries.

As General Manager – Engineering, David leads a diverse team of engineers and drafters providing design services to all the Primero business divisions focusing on technical excellence and delivering solutions that add value to our clients.
