Rio Tinto’s Yandi Sustaining Project intended to extend the life of the Yandicoogina mine in the Pilbara to 2021 and expand its nameplate capacity from 53Mtpa to 56Mtpa.
Primero was engaged to design and deliver HME refuelling infrastructure at the SW junctions central fuel farm.
Primero provided a turnkey refuelling solution for the South Western mine junction, including tying into existing fuel infrastructure at the SW junction’s central fuel farm.
SCOPE
- The design, supply, fabrication, delivery, construction and commissioning of the facility containing:
- 2x 110kl bullet tanks.
- Duty and standby fuel pumps.
- Line filtration.
- AHS refuelling capability.
