Telfer Main Dome Dewatering

Newcrest is the largest gold producer listed on the ASX and is one of the world’s largest gold mining companies. It owns and operates a portfolio of predominantly low cost, long life mines in Australia, Canada and Papua New Guinea, and has a strong pipeline of brownfields and greenfields exploration projects.

Located in the Great Sandy Desert in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia, the Telfer Gold Copper Mine is approximately 450 kilometres east-south-east of Port Hedland. The operation is comprised of two mines: Telfer Open Pit, containing two pits – Main Dome and West Dome, and Telfer Underground, located beneath the Main Dome.
