The Kiniéro Gold Project is located approximately 440 km east-northeast of Conakry, in the Republic of Guinea, and comprises an open-cut gold mine with a conventional CIL circuit.

Primero was initially engaged by NSR to complete an ECI for the project in 2022. NSR awarded Primero the contract based on Primero’s superior technical proposal, “Can Do” attitude, an aligned culture and a strong focus on the client relationship.

Primero was engaged by Tietto Minerals Limited to complete a turnkey design of a gold mineral processing plant, capable of processing 4.5Mtpa of ore and producing over 200,000 oz of gold a year.

Sihayo Gold Limited engaged Primero over other competitors due to our excellent existing working relationship with PT Sorikmas Mining.

Successfully completed Primero’s first dewatering infrastructure construction project, leading to ongoing works for Newcrest at Telfer.

Primero was responsible for the process, mechanical, structural, piping and electrical aspects of the detailed design activities as well as management of equipment procurement, site support during construction and commissioning assistance.

Primero is engaged by Northern Star Resources to implement the Pogo Mine process plant upgrades to increase throughput.
