ASX-listed Core Lithium Ltd (ASX: CXO) is targeting lithium production through the development of its highly prospective Finniss Lithium Project, located near Darwin in the Northern Territory, Australia.
Core Lithium owns 100% of the Finniss Lithium Project, located just south of Darwin port in the Northern Territory, which has JORC 2012 compliant Mineral Resources of 3.45 million tonnes (Mt) at 1.4% lithium oxide (Li20).
The flagship Finniss Lithium Project lies within one of the most prospective areas for lithium in Austraia’s Northern Territory – the Bynoe pegmatite field – and covers over 500 square kilometres of granted tenements.
Overview
Primero was responsible for the execution of FEED services for Core Lithium during the development of their Finniss Lithium project whereby shortcomings were identified and rectified prior to the completion of their DFS. The FEED also included overall site layout development in partnership with Core Lithium’s mining contractor. FEED activity recently culminated in the following awards:
- DMS circuit EPC.
- Crushing facility build, own, operate contract (BOO).
- Asset management, operation and maintenance contract for the DMS plant.
