Chief Executive Officer
As the founding Managing Director of the group Mr Henry has lead the strategic and operational direction of Primero to now be an ASX listed company, operating in several regions globally with annual revenues of circa $200M AUD. With over 20 years industry experience in the development and delivery of minerals processing, energy and infrastructure projects across Australia, Indonesia, North and South America Mr Henry leads the group with a technical and commercial understanding across multiple disciplines, geographies and market segments. His entrepreneurial skills have developed with the continual growth of the company and are reflected in the organic nature and culture of the business that has become Primero since inception in 2011.
Since listing on the ASX in 2018 the group has grown significantly under the leadership of Mr Henry transitioning from a privately owned enterprise to an ASX listed entity. With the group’s expansive footprint and ever expanding reputation Mr Henry has been instrumental in positioning the group to grow within the resources sector as a leader in sub $150M capex EPC projects ensuring that Primero can differentiate with its services offering across design, construction & operation. Mr Henry has been a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors since 2013 and has previously held non-executive roles of ASX listed Titan Minerals Limited & is currently a non-executive director with RareX Limited.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr Ercegovic has nearly 20 years of experience in project managing EPC and EPCM contracts in mineral resources and energy sectors across Australia and neighbouring countries. His extensive experience within engineering and project management has seen the delivery of projects across the energy and minerals sector valued through to A$100 million.
In leading the Company’s operations, Mr Ercegovic is directly responsible for the health, safety, environment, quality and support services of the Company. As the operations manager of the Company, he works in a ‘hands on’ position ensuring that the Company’s project delivery strategy and implementation is upheld through the Company’s individual project managers.
Chief Development Officer
Mr Grosvenor brings additional strength and capability to the Company across a range of commodities, including over 25 years’ experience in the Mining and Power industry. Mr Grosvenor has previously held senior and key roles in major national and international companies for both client and contractor sides such as Alstom, Laing O’Rourke, Sinclair Knight Mertz and Alinta Energy.
With a dual tertiary qualification in Engineering and a Master in Business, Mr Grosvenor is able to balance the business requirements with his understanding of site based technical engineering and construction issues to bring a significant level of expertise to the Group and its clients.
As a Director of the Company, his proven leadership skills, including managing, motivating other staff and team members has been invaluable in helping the Company achieve its business strategies and project objectives.
Ryan is a Chartered Accountant and has spent nearly 20 years in the accounting industry with experience in both commercial and public practice.
For the past 8 years he has been the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of Primero Group where he has played an integral part in the transformation of the company from a start-up to the listed entity it is today.
Ryan’s strengths include financial management, accounting, structuring, and taxation services. His other qualifications include being a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors as well as a certificate in Governance Practice through the Governance Institute of Australia.
EGM Project Delivery
Mark is an experienced and results centric professional with 20 years’ experience in the engineering and construction sector. Experience has predominantly been with leading Western Australian based contractors in the resources, oil and gas, and infrastructure sectors, which has encompassed most major clients in these areas.
Mark has a strong general management ability with particular focus on full accountability for a portfolio of large-scale construction projects, from tender through to final close out. Mark has Demonstrated experience in leading large teams in a dynamic and growing environment with an analytical decision-making ability.
He specialises in delivering a portfolio of projects simultaneously, whilst leading employee development through the organisation, and ensuring future growth areas are identified, planned for and executed with a strategic view.
GM Operations & Maintenance
Graham is an experienced mining industry executive with a background in operations, mineral economics, project management, and mineral processing excellence. He has held key leadership roles developing and operating mineral assets globally and across a broad range of commodities and scale. His fifteen years of minerals industry background spans the full project lifecycle from feasibility through design, construction, commissioning, and operations management.
In addition to successfully project managing large capital projects from feasibility through to full ramp-up, Graham has built several successful operational teams from scratch and turned around underperforming production teams to achieve excellence in operational, maintenance, safety, and cost performance. Multi-project experience across the following commodities: iron ore, gold, nickel, copper, zinc, lead, vanadium, lithium.
Graham’s academic credentials include a Masters in Mineral Economics, Masters of Business Administration, Bachelors in Engineering. Additionally Graham is a graduate of AICD’s company directors program (GAICD) and a chartered project management professional (PMP), chartered professional metallurgist (CPMet) and chartered professional engineer (CPEng).
Brad has over 30 years’ experience in various roles covering project delivery, manufacturing and operations. The majority being in minerals related projects being shared between local and international locations. Roles performed include client side responsibilities and he has held roles at executive levels in engineering, project and business management. He has had extensive opportunity to work abroad and at site for extensive periods and has a solid understanding of project life cycle from study through to commissioning and handover.
Brad’s extensive experience is also supported by a strong technical foundation including a Masters in Mineral Economics, Bachelors in Engineering, and Post Graduate Diplomas in Extractive Metallurgy and Business.
As General Manager – Minerals, his focus is on the technical excellence of the solutions developed combined with developing and maintaining a strong delivery team.
Stefan has over 25 years’ experience in the Minerals, Resources and Energy sectors. Graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering with a post graduate Masters of Business Administration, he has applied this knowledge to develop a career that includes delivery of a range of Engineering, Construction and maintenance projects both nationally and internationally.
His career includes over 20 years of senior management and executive management roles with responsibilities ranging from oversight of Business Unit P&L’s and oversight of corporate support functions. He has strong leadership skills with a collaborative approach to all aspects of business management.
As General Manager – Energy, his focus is on delivering EPC projects across the energy sector in both the traditional oil and gas market place together with burgeoning new energy market in areas such green Hydrogen, Solar, Wind and Battery Energy Storage.
Michael has over 30 years’ experience in various roles covering project engineering, delivery, fabrication and operations. He has worked across various sectors, commercial, rail, Iron Ore, Oil and Gas and NPI. He has held roles from site-based supervision to executive management levels in engineering, operations and project delivery. He has had extensive experience working with clients to find to identify the key drivers and put solutions in place, safety, quality, engineering, modulisation or project delivery.
Michael extensive experience is also supported by a strong trade back ground working his way to senior management, managing life cycle of projects within Australia and abroad.
As General Manager – NPI, his focus is on the delivery excellence by focusing on solutions development combined with developing and maintaining a strong delivery team.
David has over 25 years’ experience in engineering including functional engineering management of regional business units and process plant design, including onsite supervision and commissioning of mineral processing plants in various locations including Australia, Ghana, Armenia, Indonesia, Zambia, DRC, China and the USA.
With experience across a number of project delivery roles David brings a detailed knowledge of systems and process required to deliver design from front end studies through to commissioning. David also brings a detailed knowledge of work-sharing and managing remote engineering teams having executed engineering with teams across multiple office locations and countries.
As General Manager Engineering, David leads a diverse team of engineers and drafters providing design services to all the Primero business groups including Minerals, NPI, Energy and Operations & Maintenance, all with a focus on technical excellence and delivering solutions that add value to our clients.
GM Strategy & Corporate Development
David’s key responsibilities as General Manager, Strategy & Corporate Development include overseeing the Company’s strategic growth plan, divisional business planning, business reporting and building a high performing Executive Team. Human Resources reports directly to him. Prior to joining Primero, David was General Manager Corporate at publicly listed mining services contractor, MACA Ltd. David previously owned a successful management consulting firm for 21 years, working with blue-chip clients across Australia and internationally.
Jacques is an engineering professional with over 30 years of experience in the fields of project management, engineering management, high value execution, modularisation, engineering outsourcing, heavy fabrication and materials engineering. He has been involved in engineering design, project engineering, contracts, construction and large purchase orders management in various industries, particularly in mining, metallurgy, oil and gas.
Jacques has also been responsible for education and training programs, as well as preparation and implementation of quality assurance programs. He has worked in various, different resources including gold, lithium (concentrate & conversion), potash, copper, alumina, cobalt and nickel (mining & refining).
Peter is a chartered professional engineer in both structural engineering and leadership and management. In addition, Peter is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and has received the Engineering Executive post-nominal for his years of engineering management and continued development of the profession. His engineering knowledge and skills are second to none within his specific discipline of structural, however, his sound overall understanding of engineering principles and processes enables him to manage quality, efficiency and delivery of engineering work. Peter relocated to Montreal in 2018 to assist in developing and growing the Americas office.
