Primero is pleased to announce we have secured a contract with Rio Tinto for the design and construction of the Hope Downs 2 Satellite & Bedded Hilltop Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) Facilities, as part of the Hope Downs 1 Sustaining Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Valued at approximately $157 million, the contract includes full EPC delivery – design, supply, installation, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover. Design and procurement activities are set to commence immediately, with site works expected to begin in Q4 2025, pending external approvals. Completion is scheduled for December 2026.
