Coastal Water Supply Sustaining Project Award

Primero is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a contract by Rio Tinto for the Coastal Water Supply Sustaining Project.

As part of this contract, Primero will undertake the Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation (SMPE&I) procurement and construction works for the seawater desalination project at Parker Point in Dampier, Western Australia. This scope includes the seawater intake, treatment facility, and conveyance piping.

The contract, valued at over $100 million, is set to commence immediately and will run for approximately twelve months.
