Primero is pleased to announce that its proprietary ALi® hard rock refining process has been identified by PMET Resources as the best refining method following an evaluation of all commercial-ready refining methods.
The ALi process is fully atmospheric requiring no sulphuric acid and using simple process equipment. Laboratory and pilot plant testwork has reliably produced battery grade lithium carbonate, reinforcing the potential of ALi® to support a more efficient and sustainable lithium supply chain.
As the global demand for lithium continues to accelerate, NRW Holdings have invested in Primero’s innovative capabilities to develop a more efficient, lower cost and a more environmentally friendly refining process to meet that demand.
